Safeguarding at Colyton Grammar School
At Colyton Grammar School, the safety and wellbeing of our students is central to everything we do. Our core values — Scholarship, Humility and Service — guide our commitment to creating a community where every student feels safe, supported and able to thrive, both inside and beyond the classroom. We recognise that safeguarding is a collective responsibility, and we work in partnership with families, external agencies and our wider community to ensure that every child is protected and valued.
Our Safeguarding Team
Safeguarding concerns can arise at any time, and our trained Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) team is always available during school hours to respond.

Our commitment includes:

Each policy reflects the expectations set out by the Department for Education and our Local Safeguarding Partnerships.
Online Safety & Reporting
If you have concerns about online grooming, exploitation or inappropriate contact, you can report it directly to:

We encourage students to speak to a trusted adult at school if they feel unsafe or unsure about anything they encounter online.
