Sixth Form Overview
Welcome
We would like to wish a very warm welcome to all students, and their parents and carers, who have chosen to pursue their sixth form studies here at Colyton.
Our sixth formers have established a long tradition of success at A-Level and in going on to highly aspirational futures beyond school. We believe strongly in the importance of a supportive & friendly environment as a basis for this success and think it important that we share with you our aims and values as a sixth form.

Preparation for sixth form
While students deserve a well-earned break following their GCSEs, the summer before the start of A-Levels also offers an excellent opportunity to lay the foundations for successful Sixth Form Study. The Preparation for Sixth Form Study booklet offers an overview of life in the Sixth Form, aims to help Sixth Formers discover more about the A Level subjects they have chosen, encouraging them to begin to explore these subjects beyond the confines of GCSE. For each subject there are suggestions of introductory materials, enrichment activities and further reading.
