Life at Colyton Grammar

Year 13 student Innes F has achieved a lot in her athletic career so far, including taking part in various high level cross country competitions and winning the Mini London Marathon. 

Recently, Innes was nominated in the Young Athlete of the Year category of the BBC Green Sport Awards for helping to raise awareness about the carbon footprint of sporting events. This was after she turned down the opportunity to compete in the World Cross Country Championships in Australia because of the impact that flying has on the environment. 

Innes has now been named as the Young Athlete of the Year in the BBC Green Sport Awards and we would like to congratulate her on this momentous acheivement.
