Years 9 to Year 11: The middle years - GCSE

Our core purpose is ‘to enable our students to thrive on highly selective courses at elite universities and to be happy and successful in their future careers’.  

Studying 11 GCSE subjects enables students to develop their knowledge in a broad range of academic subjects, with 100% of students studying the EBACC, an ambitious but appropriate aim for our highly able intake. Starting these courses in Year 9 allows students to go beyond the GCSE specifications, developing freethinking scholarship and deep academic curiosity, which helps prepare them for A-Levels and beyond.
