Colyton U13 Girls faced a tough test in the 6th round of the ESFA National Cup, taking on Trinity away at Coach Road.

The team started with great energy, battling hard from the first whistle. However, Trinity struck early to take the lead, putting Colyton on the back foot. Refusing to be discouraged, the girls fought back with determination, applying sustained pressure. Their efforts were rewarded with a brilliant solo goal from Izzy, who showed skill and composure to bring the game level.

Heading into the second half, Colyton continued to compete fiercely, but Trinity found their rhythm and managed to pull away, securing a convincing win. Despite the result, the girls can hold their heads high- reaching the 6th round is an incredible achievement and a testament to their hard work.

Though this marks the end of our cup run, the experience has been invaluable. With a strong foundation to build on, we are excited to come back next year even stronger and more disciplined. A huge well done to every player who contributed to this fantastic team!
