Sikh faith talk for Year 7 students

News - Mar 24
On Monday 17 March Year 7 were lucky to have a morning with Sukbhir Singh and his son Waheguru Pal Singh. Sukbhir is the Sikh chaplain of Exeter University. Waheguru Pal is a year 12 student at Torquay Grammar school who studies IB Philosophy. Sukbhir and Waheguru Pal gave us a fascinating insight into the beliefs and practices of the Sikh faith.
They also demonstrated how to tie a turban using two of our students as models! They rounded off an interesting morning by answering questions on all aspects of Sikhism from our students.
Many thanks to Sukbhir and Waheguru Pal for being so generous with their time.
