The Under 12 team battled it out in the East Devon Final after dominant wins over Axe Valley and Uffculme. This team, Exmouth proved a real challenge in a thrilling end-to-end contest. Exmouth struck first after 15 minutes, and we struggled to break through. The second half saw Colyton fight back to lead 2-1, but Exmouth managed to equalise, pushing the game into extra time and then penalties. With nerves of stee, Colyton buried their first three spot-kicks, whilst our keeper pulled off stunning saves to deny Exmouth, securing a dramatic victory. A fantastic achievement – well done team, we look forward to many more years of exciting football.
