Student competes in Cross Challenge

Oscar P, Year 10, recently competed in the fourth round of the Cross Challenge at Temple Newsam Park in Leeds. The Cross Challenge is a hotly contested national series of cross-country races with the Leeds event following on from races in Cardiff, Liverpool and Glasgow.  

Oscar ran a strong race to claim a Bronze Medal. Oscar said ‘I felt in good form and the hilly course suited me. I had a strong start, allowing me to stick with the front of the pack.’  

The Grand Final of the series takes place in Nottingham next month. Well done, Oscar.
