Our Under 13 Football girls team took to the field for their second-round qualifier, having secured a win and a draw in the first round. With high hopes and a determination to progress, the team’s performance was a testament to their growth and teamwork.

The tournament began with a solid 2-0 victory against Honiton, with Izzy opening the scoring with a well-placed shot and Gabby doubling the lead with a fantastic finish to seal the win. In their second match, Colyton faced Sidmouth and despite a resilient performance, the game ended in a 0-0 draw.

Next up was Exmouth, the eventual tournament winners. Colyton produced one of their best performances of the day securing a 1-0 victory with a goal from Izzy. The final game of the day saw Colyton face Kings in another closely contested affair and despite multiple chances from both teams, the game ended 0-0.

Charlotte was named Player of the Match for her performance in goal. Well done to all involved.
