Author Ben Martynoga visits Colyton Grammar School

On Tuesday 10th December, we were lucky enough to have a visit from biologist and award-winning science writer, Ben Martynoga. Ben spoke to all of Year 7 about his Explodapedia books, focusing particularly on his most recent book, Rewild. Students were treated to a reading from the book, a presentation including illustrations from the book, and some of the key points that the book makes.  

Ben then gave an inspiring talk to Year 12 Biologists about his career and experiences, with opportunities for students to ask questions. At lunchtime, students were able to get a book signed by Ben and ask him further questions. We’d like to say a huge thank you to Ben for his engaging and thought-provoking talks and we hope to welcome him back to Colyton again in the future.
