Under 16 girls play first game of Contact Rugby

This week, our Under 16 girls team travelled to Sidmouth to play in their first ever game of contact Rugby.  

Although nervous, the girls started extremely well and were confident with ball in hand. It was a tightly contested game, with some fantastic tries and some big tackles from both teams. As the game went on, the girls grew in confidence and worked extremely well as a team. Sukhi P, Sophia H, Amy G, Seren L, Amy W and Clarice FO all ended up on the score sheet.  

Thank you to Sidmouth, for a coaching game played in great spirit, and well done to everyone involved. Player of the match went to captain Sophia H, who was excellent throughout and really helped the team on and off the ball.
