Students compete in swimming gala

Our best swimmers from Years 7 to 10 travelled to Exmouth to participate in the East Devon Swim Gala.  

Colyton competed admirably, taking first place in the Junior Boys competition and the Inter Boys and Girls competition, winning overall in both the Junior and Inter competitions. The swim team finished in the top three in almost all events, with standout performances from each of the relay teams.  

Well done to all those involved on a fantastic performance with special mention to Ellen B in Year 12 for her help poolside.

• 3rd – Colyton – 27 points  

Junior Boys  

• 1st – Colyton – 41 points  

Inter Girls 

• 1st – Colyton – 40 points  

Inter Boys 

• 1st – Colyton and Uffculme – 33 points  

Overall junior and overall Inter  

1st – Colyton – 79 points
