Colyton Grammar School University Challenge enters second week

In the lower school tournament of our Colyton Grammar School University Challenge, the crunch match between Beech and Oak took place with Beech winning with a score of 100 to Oak’s 50. Sadly, this means that the Year 7/8 Oak team leave the competition. Well done to the Beech Year 7/8 team who progress to the next round.  

The total results of the first round of Year 7/8 matches were:  

Cedar – 275 points  

Elm – 245 points  

Ash – 215 points  

Beech – 145 points  

Oak – 90 points (eliminated)  

The Middle Years tournament also kicked off with the Year 9-11 Ash and Elm teams flexing their buzzer fingers.  

The scores were as followed:  

Ash – 90 points  

Elm – 25 points
