Under 13s play in Devon Hockey Tournament

Colyton Grammar School hosted the county round of the national competition, which was great as it meant that we did not have to make another trip to Plymouth where all the other age groups took place.  

The boys had some strong opposition, but they stepped up and competed with determination. They had some battles and although they lost 0-1 to Mount Kelly, 0-3 to Exeter School and 0-2 to West Buckland, they did win their final game against Devonport 1-0. This team show potential for the future and need to balance playing hockey with their other sports like football and rugby if they have the time.
