Our under 19 netball team have made it through to the next round of the ‘Sisters in Sport’ National Shield Competition after beating Ringwood in an away game 35 to 21. The team worked hard to secure the win, building their performance each quarter and they are all excited to hear who they will face next.

In rugby, the under 15 team played their first game of the season in the pouring rain. During rugby club, the team had worked hard on their rucking skills and movement of the ball out wide. The team were able to transfer this onto the pitch where they performed incredibly well beating Woodroffe 47-0 which is an outstanding achievement.

Woodroffe School started well against us in an under 14 match, keeping our Colyton team in our own half. Unfortunately, the match had to be stopped five minutes into the game due to an injury to one of our players and we would like to take this opportunity to wish Henry a speedy and full recovery.

Once play was able to resume, Woodroffe started as the better side, scoring a couple of good tries. Colyton battled hard and our efforts paid off scoring a couple of well-worked tries. The game ended with Woodroffe as the overall winners but there were plenty of positives to take forward.

Thank you to all who came to support, and we are looking forward to the upcoming cup match against QE School, Crediton.
