Students complete Summer Reading Challenge

Well done to all the students who took part and completed the Summer Reading Challenge. Over the summer holidays, students were challenged to read six books from six different genres.  

Students read widely, from classic sci-fi novels such as ‘The Day of the Triffids’, to modern young adult dystopia such as ‘The Hunger Games’. To reward their efforts, students were given a reading badge and a book to help them continue their reading endeavours (as well as a chocolate treat).  

We are extremely impressed with Year 7 student Claude E-J, who completed all four of our BlockBuster reading challenges as well as the Summer Reading Challenge all before he had even started at the school.
