Andrew Lane, author of popular 'Young Sherlock' series visits Colyton Grammar School

On Tuesday 11th July, Andrew Lane, author of the Young Sherlock series visited CGS and ran a writing workshop with some of our Year 7s. He also gave a talk to Year 8, discussing the character of Sherlock Holmes, the different ways in which he has been used by writers, and his lasting popularity. At lunch, students were also able to ask Andrew questions about his writing and books, as well as get their books signed. Thank you, Andrew, for a fascinating and engaging visit.
