Colyton Grammar School students succeed at County Athletics Championships

Many of our Colyton Grammar School athletes recently took part in the County Athletics Championships after qualifying at local level.
Katie H, Sam S, Olly M, Innes F, Martin F, Nathan B, Lucy M and Scarlett L all finished first in their events, a tremendous achievement. Innes also beat the 1500m county record which has stood since 1976, 47 years ago. She had an amazing race, and we are proud to say that we had a Colyton first and second place in this event.

It was a fantastic day of sport at the arena and it was noticeable how many Colyton athletes were taking part. Well done to all the competitors for doing their best at this county level and we wish all those competing in the next rounds the very best of luck
