Colyton Grammar School student succeeds in Topsham Rugby

Recently, Mrs Smith, manager of the Topsham Girls’ Rugby Team, got in contact with Colyton Grammar School with the brilliant news that Year 9 student Sophia H has been recognised in its junior section awards ceremony.  

Sophia, who is team captain for her age group in Topsham Rugby, was awarded the Players’ Player in the Under-14 group, being presented with her prize by Exeter Chiefs player Jacques Vermeulen.  

This is excellent news for Sophia, and as all girls at Colyton Grammar School play rugby in their game lessons and school fixtures, it is pleasing to know that Sophia and others like her will be playing for the school.
