Colyton Grammar School student wins opportunity to perform at Shakespeare's Globe

After winning a place last term, Wednesday 24th May saw Year 9 student Toby compete in the regional finals of the ESU Performing Shakespeare competition.
The standard was extremely high as all of the performers had already won two rounds and only one performer would be selected to go forward to the National Finals of the competition.
Therefore, we are immensely proud of Toby for winning the Regional Final and for being given the incredible opportunity to perform on stage at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London. His performance of Jaques from ‘As You Like It’ was outstanding and we wish him all the best in the final of the competition
