Colyton Grammar School students selected to compete in Devon Athletics Championship

After recently competing for East Devon, several Colyton Grammar School athletes have been selected to compete at the Devon Athletics Championship after coming in either first or second at the qualifying event.

Congratulations to Clarice O, who will compete in the Junior Girls 200m and discus events, Lyra W and Cassia B who will run in the Junior Girls 1500m, Bailey S who will run in the Junior Boys 100m and Sam D who qualified for both the Junior Boys 300m and the triple jump.

James A will compete in the Junior Boys 800m, with Oscar P running in the Junior Boys 1500. Harry C qualified for the long jump, George W for the javelin, Oscar F for the shot and discus events and Becky M for the high jump.

Temide A will compete in both the Inter Boys 100m and the high jump, Oscar H will run in the Inter Boys 400m and Robin D in the Inter Boys 800m. Both Olly M and Rocco S will run in the Inter Boys 1500m, with Martin F and Dylan T taking on the 3000m.

Nathan B will take part in the long jump with Stan M in the Inter Boys shot and discus events. Scarlett L will run in both the 400m and 1500m with Lucy M taking on the 800m, and Innes F running in the 3000m, all senior events.
