Colyton Grammar School students take part in Neon 5k run event

After students’ Tuesday lunchtime training runs on Seaton seafront, the time had arrived for the Neon 5k run event at Okehampton.
The girls all had a fantastic day, with everyone completing the run. Martha C and Katie H even did an extra 2-kilometre loop afterwards!
There was plenty more to enjoy with a tee shirt to decorate, a neon photo room, face paint and lots of extra activities which included axe throwing, badminton, cricket and dodgeball.
It was an amazing day, and everyone went home with a medal to acknowledge and celebrate personal achievement. We are already looking forward to the event next year.
