Colyton students make a welcome return to Berlin

Colyton students made a welcome return to Berlin last month with five days spent in the German capital. Sites of historical, political and cultural significance were visited including the Reichstag, home of the German parliament; Sachsenhausen concentration camp and of course the Berlin Wall Memorial on Bernauer Strasse. There was also, however, plenty of time for students to simply chat, socialise and try out their knowledge of the German language, while the trip to a Blue Man Group concert provided a particular highlight. Year 12 students are already keen to follow in their footsteps with 56 signed up for February 2024. Mr Gregson said that he was delighted the students had enjoyed this year’s trip and wanted to thank colleagues who came for giving up their time; Mrs Hughes; Mr Stidwell; Ms Taylor and Mrs Bacon.
