- A greener Colyton opens its doors
A greener Colyton opens its doors
BackNews - Oct 6
As a new school year starts, Colyton Grammar School aims to further improve sustainability by having 36 new recycling bins positioned around the school.
This means cans and plastic. No food, no cardboard and no clingfilm.
SMALL GREEN BINS IN CLASSROOMS: Paper only!
RED: General waste that can’t be recycled!
They also have a label on them to remind you which is which. Also, recycling has been made easier as the bins now have accessible holes to simply put the waste away and welcome an eco-friendlier tomorrow. This is one of the easy ways that we as a community can help to keep our school clean and reduce the amount of trash ending up in the ocean and being sent to landfills each year.
