Chance to Shine competition at Exmouth Cricket Club

The U15 Cricket team took part in the Chance to Shine competition at Exmouth Cricket Club. Having won all their games throughout the day, the last match was against St. Peters. It came down to the last over where St Peters needed five from five.  Some excellent bowling from captain Rose B who managed to keep her cool meant that Colyton won by two runs!!  An exciting end to a fantastic day.  They now progress to the next round this month. 

Our U13 Cricket team won the East Devon C2C Competition progressing through to represent East Devon at the Devon round. 

Group stage:  CGS 1 run win against Exmouth; CGS 34 run win against Axe Valley 

Final:  CGS 45 run win against Kings 

Well done to the success in the cricket and to the boys who are the East Devon Softball Champions! Bat and ball are obviously bringing us great success in the sporting world!
