Our Under 16 and Under 14 netball teams faced off against Clyst Vale in two hard-fought matches that showcased determination, skill, and teamwork. Both games were closely contested, with neither side giving an inch in the opening quarters.

For the Under 14 team, the first two quarters were a display of quick ball movement and sharp shooting from both teams. However, the tide began to turn in the third quarter. Colyton’s defensive unit stepped up with some incredible turnovers which allowed them to capitalise on their chances with clinical shooting, pulling away on the scoreboard.

The final whistle marked a well-deserved 13-7 victory for Colyton, highlighting the team’s growing confidence and cohesion. Special recognition goes to Holly W and Katie H who were named Players of the Match for their outstanding contributions in defence and attack.

In the game for the Under 16s, both teams demonstrated resilience and sharp decision-making, with neither side able to gain a significant lead. The game remained incredibly tight throughout, with each goal met by a quick response from the opposition.

Colyton held their nerve, showing remarkable composure under pressure to eke out a nail-biting 19-17 victory. Josie W was named player of the match.
