On Monday we had a Royal Navy Merlin Helicopter from the Commando Helicopter Force visit the school.

Year 9 and 10 students gathered on the field to watch it land, then hear personnel from the Royal Navy and Royal Marines talk about careers in the Military before being given a tour of the aircraft with some able to sit in the flight seats!  All students were able to come and look around and talk during lunchtime, and then Year 7 and 8 students watched it take off.

This was flown in by Lt Cdr Tucker, and flown out by Lt Cdr Brazenall, also aboard was Col Tucker – all Colyton parents.  We are very grateful for Lt Cdr Tucker for organising this visit.
