Virtual Sixth Form Information Event

We are sorry not to be able to see you in person for this year’s Introduction to Sixth Form Evening. However, we have put together a suite of presentations to help you get to know what makes the Sixth Form at Colyton Grammar School so distinctive.

The first three videos (from Headteacher, Tim Harris, Deputy Headteacher, Andrew Gregson, and Head of Sixth Form, Simon Smith) are designed as introductory presentations that allow you to appreciate our Sixth Form curriculum, the principles to apply when choosing A Levels, and the admissions process. Please do watch these first.

You can then explore the content and delivery of each of our A Level subjects, as well as the Extended Project, through watching individual A Level departmental videos and presentations using the link below.

We have been keen to put the experiences of our sixth form students at the heart of the presentations here. The Senior Prefect Team have assembled their own video on sixth form life, and for each A Level subject we have talks from students as well as Heads of Department.

Learning beyond the curriculum is a key part of our ethos, so we have also included below a presentation from our Librarian, Megan Cox, who is always on hand to support the academic journeys of our A Level students.
