Mental Health Strategy

Education and mental health services need to work closely together to plan the most effective way of improving children and young people’s mental health and well-being.

At Colyton Grammar School (CGS) we have a whole school approach to openly discussing and promoting good mental health for students and staff. We have worked with Early Help 4 Mental Health (EH4MH) to devise a school mental health strategy and accompanying policy that highlight the strategies we have employed to ensure that our school is mentally healthy. Our students are aware that we respect their mental health and ability to demonstrate resilience when faced with challenges in the same way that we respect and value their academic progress.
