University of Exeter Writing Competition Winner
In November 2019, students studying French in Year12 were invited to take part in a Writing Competition organised by The Language Exepress at the University of Exeter. Students had to send in their essay of maximum 500 words in English and a winner was chosen by a panel of University lecturers based on analysis and creativity in their writing! The topic for the essay was: Do languages unite more than they divide us?
I am glad to report that Immy H won first place in the A-Level category, winning a £30 Amazon voucher and an official certificate from the University of Exeter. Her essay has also been published on The Language Exepress website and can be read by clicking the following link. Well done Immy for this amazing achievement!
