Y12 Geography Field Work
After the tight COVID restrictions and months of online learning, Year 12 were finally able to enjoy learning about physical and human fieldwork methodology in Lyme Regis and Plymouth. Despite the poor weather, the students learned a variety of techniques all whilst exploring the places taught about in class. One student described how they: “really enjoyed the geography fieldwork days as they helped inspire my title for my Independent Investigation and it was great to be able to go to our case studies and review the theory we had been taught in lessons.” Students pictured here in Lyme Regis at the end of the eastern sea wall overlooking the Black Venn landslide complex.
